We run plant ID workshops for various organizations that are concerned with invasive plant infestations on public lands (such as parks or landfills), and Nurseries. If you would like to inquire about setting up a workshop for your organization, contact us.

2019 Comox Valley Farmers Market Booth

June 22nd. Our booth was set up at the busy farmers market located at the Exhibition Grounds (4839 Headquarters Rd, Courtenay). I handed out pamphlets, ran mini identification workshops, and answered questions. I helped people learn about our free services for removing Knotweed and Hogweed from most home owners properties in the Comox Valley (and other districts).

2019 Cumberland Preschool Community Weedpull

May 15 & 16. The Hand in Hand early childhood nature education program, that focuses on outdoor learning (, teamed up yet again, with the Coastal ISC to remove Scotch Broom and Himalyan Blackberrry from their outdoor classroom. Thank you to all the teachers, students and parents that helped out and were enthusastic to learn about invasive plants.
